We do not use your data to send unsolicited advertising or to make automated decisions that affect you. We do not use advertising pixels or remarketing. We do not ask for sensitive data; please do not include it in your messages.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Only these providers are involved, each for the stated purpose:

Some of these providers may store data outside your country, including in the United States. By accepting cookies or writing to us through those channels, you consent to that transfer. We may also disclose data when a competent authority requires it under the law.

Fonts are served from our own server, with no requests to Google Fonts. Links to LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp are plain links with no embedded widgets: those platforms only receive data if you click and leave the site, and from then on their policies apply.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), runs no server-side code and keeps no visitor database. Access to the messages we receive is limited to the people who need to handle them.

Children and minors

The site is meant for businesses and adults. It is not directed to minors or to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a minor sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights in the United States

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you rights over your data. Other states have similar laws, such as the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA) and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA). Even where those laws may not bind us, we extend their rights to any US visitor who asks.

Categories of data in the last 12 months

The sources are your browser and you. Purposes and retention periods are those in the table above. We do not collect sensitive personal information.

Your rights

To use them, email hello@ideactivo.com or call +1 917 905 6350. We will verify your identity with the minimum information needed and respond within 45 days, extendable where the law allows. You may act through an authorized agent if you provide proof of authorization.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

The site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, the site treats it as a rejection of analytics: it does not load Google Analytics or set its cookies, even if you accepted them before. Because there is no common standard for the Do Not Track signal, the site does not respond to it specifically; but since Google Analytics only loads after you select "Accept", there is no tracking without your consent.

Your rights in Costa Rica

Costa Rica's Law 8968 on the Protection of Individuals with Regard to the Processing of Their Personal Data (Ley 8968 de Protección de la Persona frente al Tratamiento de sus Datos Personales) and its Regulation (Executive Decree 37554-JP) recognize your right to informational self-determination. We process your data with your informed consent, and you can use these rights free of charge at any time:

Email hello@ideactivo.com with your name, the right you want to use and a way to reply to you. We will handle your request within 5 business days from the day after we receive it, as article 18 of the Regulation requires. If the information is insufficient, we may ask you once for what we need to process it.

If you believe we did not respect your rights, you can file a complaint with the Agency for the Protection of Inhabitants' Data (Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes, PRODHAB (opens in a new tab)).

Changes to this policy

If the site adds new tools or changes how it processes data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change applies, and ask for your consent when needed.
